The city is about 70000 inhabitants, covering the territory of many kilometers, it seems that it's a small town, but has resources of the big city. It is located at southeast coast of Issyk-Kul lake near to mountains. It is an administrative centre of Issyk-Kul area with corresponding establishments, cabinets and so on.
