The base is situated in 7 km from Karakol and 400 km from Bishkek. It is the most popular ski base in Kyrgyzstan. There are many interesting steep and sport ski routes, wonderful nature of Terskey Ala-Too range.

In “Karakol” ski base were created fine conditions for skiing, snowboarding, driving in a sledge. The extension of the ski route is 2300m, minimal incline is 5 degrees, medium is 26 degrees and maximum is 53 degrees. Altitudes overfall is 590-600m.

Length of the descent is from 400m till 3.5km, the highest point of skiing is 3040m. The sled descent is equipped with special elevator.

The common extension of the ski routes is 20 km. And most of them pass over coniferous forest. There is a towing rope-way with stationary hoop (T-row).

- “Karakol” ski base has: 5 elevators, hotel, Chalet-houses, Restaurant, Billiard, Russian bath, parking, rent equipment office, Helipad.
- “Karakol” ski base works all year round.
- Hotel-complex includes-12 rooms in the hotel (6-double and 4-triple rooms) and 2 Chalet-houses. Rooms completed with furniture, TV set. Every room has WC and shower.
- Cottage “Chalet” it is two-storied cozy house for 8-10 persons. There is a living-room, 2 bedrooms, WC, shower at the first floor, and there are three double rooms at the second floor.

Rope-way service (lift chair):
- 400 som (12$)/person;
- 250 som (7$)/for children under 12.

Rent equipment (from 09a.m. till 16p.m.):
- Skis - 400-600 som (12$-17$);
- Snowboard – 400-600 som (12$-17$);
- Snowmobile with instructor /10 minutes - 1000 som (28$);
- Snowmobile with instructor /1 hour - 4000 som (112$);
- Sledge - 50 som (1, 5$).
