During this tour you will enjoy the beauty of Central Tien-Shan mountains, see one of the most magnificent mountain lakes, ride special breed of hardy naryn horse, see how nowadays people live in the villages and experience the ancient culture of Kyrgyz nomads, that is still alive today in their Djailoos (summer alpine pastures) where you will be welcomed with warmest hospitality and invited for everything they have in their yurts (Kyrgyz national dwelling).

Itinerary.
Day 1: Bishkek (ca. 33 Km). Arrival in Bishkek at 08:45 a.m. Picking up at the airport and transfer to Bishkek city (33 km). Sightseeing tour around Bishkek including the main squares in the city centre: square Ala-Too with the Historical Museum, Victory square, Manas monument, Oak Park, bazaar etc. Lunch and dinner in the restaurant.

Day 2: Bishkek – Son-Kul Lake (ca. 332 Km). Transfer to Son-Kul lake (6-7 hours drive). Lunch on the way in a small caf? or picnic. In the afternoon arrival to the beautiful mountain lake (3016 m above sea level). Traditional dinner and overnight in yurts.

Day 3: Son-Kul. Free day at the lake. Today you can ride horse or go for a short hike. In this magnificent place you can see hundreds of herds and a lot of different yurts, where you for sure will be invited to have kymyz with a traditional bread, diverse very tasty milk products and jam. Dinner and overnight in the yurt.

Day 4: Son-Kul – Kochkor (ca. 120 Km). Free time in the morning. After lunch drive to Kochkor village via picturesque pass. In Kochkor you will be greeted by local families at CBT home stays. In the afternoon visit to the workshop where local women make traditional felt carpets as they used to do it centuries ago. You can participate in this procedure and also buy some handicraft. In the evening tasty traditional dinner. Overnight in home stays.

Day 5: Kochkor – Jeti-Oguz gorge (ca.250 Km). After breakfast drive along the biggest lake in Kyrgyzstan Issyk-Kul. Lunch-picnic at the shore of the lake. Arrival to the beautiful Jety-Oguz gorge. Several legends are connected with this gorge and “heart” shaped rock in particular. Dinner an overnight in yurt camp.

Day 6: Jeti-Oguz. Free day in the gorge. Here in alpine meadows you can ride horses or have easy trek to the thrilling panorama of the glaciers. On the way you can observe real life of shepherds. Because of the variety of mountain flowers the place is called Glade of Flowers. Dinner and overnight in the yurt.

Day 7: Jeti-Oguz – Karakol (ca.50 Km). After breakfast drive to Karakol (50km). Lunch in a caf?. City tour around Karakol: Dungan mosque built in Chinese style, Russian Orthodox Church, Przevalsky Museum. Accommodation in CBT home stays with local families. Dinner and folklore show in Dungan family.

Day 8: Karakol – Issyk-Kul lake (ca.100 Km). After breakfast drive to the unique mountainous lake Issyk-Kul (1600 m above sea level). Accommodation in a hotel (sanatorium). During this day you can relax on the beach or hire a boat and enjoy beautiful view. Overnight and full board in the hotel.

Day 9: Issyk-Kul lake – Chon-Kemin (ca. 200 Km). In the morning excursion to the petrogliphs – collection of stones with ancient drawings dated 2000 B.C. Transfer to Chon-Kemin nature park. Stay in a traditional guest house with local family.

Day 10: Chon-Kemin. You’ll spend the whole day in the typical Kalmak-Ashu village. Here one always admires unique nature of Kemin valley and experience life style of a village. You can ride in horse chart, or to hike in mountain fur-tree forests or to walk in a village and communicate with people. Stay in a traditional guest house with local family.

Day 11: Chon-Kemin – Bishkek (ca.140 Km). After breakfast drive to Bishkek (140 km). On the way visit Burana tower, ancient minaret on the Great Silk Road (10c). Free time in the afternoon. Farewell dinner in the evening. Accommodation in a hotel.

Day 12: Departure. Breakfast and free time, then checking out in the hotel, if time allows excursion to one of the biggest Osh bazaar to do shopping. Lunch. Transfer to the airport. Departure to the next destination.
